I trained as a printmaker and left it for screens, then spent a decade going back and forth between the two. What survived that argument is a way of working that treats a file and a sheet of paper as the same problem: something you can push until it tells you what it wants to be.
Selora is where that work lives. It is not a client portfolio and it was never meant to be tidy. Some pieces resolve in an afternoon, some have been open for three years, and a few will stay unfinished because finishing them would settle a question I would rather keep asking.
I work alone, from a studio in Shoreditch, and collaborate when the idea genuinely needs more than one set of hands.
WHAT THE STUDIOACTUALLY DOES
Image
Photographic studies, printmaking and controlled distortion. Work made by pushing a surface until it behaves differently.
Object
Physical tests in material, weight and failure. Objects built to be pressed on rather than admired.
Motion
Loops, rhythm studies and audiovisual fragments. Pieces meant to be felt a beat before they are understood.
Text
Fragments, notes and unfinished lines. Words kept because they behave more like images than sentences.
